Copper Sand Casting
As the name advised, copper sand casting technology is actually to be used in the traditional sand casting process to make copper sand casting accessories. This is an ancient casting method in our country. Speaking of its long history, it can be traced back to thousands of years ago. As for its origin and development history, it is no longer stated here one by one. In this paper, a brief introduction is given to the application of the copper smelting process in the production of all copper casting parts.
The process of making all copper fittings by using the technology of sand casting copper can be briefly described in the following steps. First step: According to the physical or drawing of the copper parts, the original mother mould is carved with gypsum or other materials. The second step is to mix clay or chemical binder with carefully selected sand in a certain proportion and then coat it on the mother mould. When it solidifies completely, the mother mould inside is taken out and the hollow sand mould of all copper fittings is obtained. In the third step, copper is melted at high temperature and then injected into the cavity sand mould. The sand mould on the surface is removed after the copper is completely solidified and cooled. You can get the copper fittings. Of course, the parts also need to go through the following processes such as polishing, polishing and so on to be used in the finished copper parts.
In the whole process of making sand-turning copper parts, there are several factors that determine the quality of sand-turning copper parts. The first is the level of the sculptor. The finer the sculpture, the better the mother mould, the better the copper parts made later. Secondly, the fineness of sand and the proportion of sand mixed with clay or binder are also decisive factors to determine the final quality of copper fittings. The copper content of copper used in third is also a key factor.
The method of bonding sand is to make sand moulds according to the copper fittings to be made, and then to produce the required castings through this moulding material.
